Vintage Apple AppleCD SC Plus SCSI External CD Drive M3021 Macintosh - RESTORED! We replaced the capacitors on the cd-rom drive itself as they had leaked and caused the unit to fail. However, we found an FAQ online on replacing the surface mount capacitors which has brought this unit back to life, and it should work for many years to come! There were 10 in total which are now new, and the unit immediately started working like new! I used it on a SUN machine to install Solaris, and it works like it should. (I didn\'t have a MAC handy at the time, but it will work just fine there as well.) Include a SCSI terminator, a single CD caddy, and a power cord. You will need a 25 pin to 50 pin cable to make this work on a MAC, I just don\'t have one to spare. Selling with a 30 day warranty, so buy with confidence!

I will accept returns from US customers for 30 days and only if the item is damaged in shipping or not working as advertised. Buyer pays return shipping if a refund is requested. We are now using warranty stickers on our vintage warrantied equipment. All equipment is tested, and sold as working unless otherwise noted, and unfortunately, I have had tampered returns. As a result, I cannot accept any return unless the warranty stickers are in-tact on the items.
