This Vintage 14\" Hard Drive Disk Platter is clean and looks good. The Digital Equipment Corporation R81 (circa 1985) was one of the largest hard drives ever manufactured. This is a single platter from the 456 megabyte drive - it is 14\" in diameter and about 1/16\" thick. Truly a piece of computing history - an extremely rare collectable from the early days of technology!Cosmetically, there are light scuffs and scratches present due to general usage and storage.
