VINTAGE ALTAIR MITS 8800 HISTORIC ORIGINAL RARE ONE OWNER W/ALTAIR DISK DRIVE DRIVE
JUST IN TIME FOR THE NEW YEARIt is time to sell my personal collection. This unit was assembled my one of our first and best customers at ACP Superstore or Advanced Computer Products, Inc. Im storage for 40 years. All original S-100 9 cards, several are Altair MITS cards- I did not remove them to see exact manufacturer but no parts/IC\'s have been removed. Worked when retired. I will all be selling the remaining items in my collection over the next few weeks. It has been a nice run as part of the PC Revolution but I still keep busy now that I am retired. This system is offered as-is and no guarantees of any kind. It is not returnable.
In my personal collection and storage since 1980- only moved to be used in Pirates of Silicon Valley Movie. As built in late 70\'s. All original- one broken toggle switch on Drive Box
AS PER PHOTOS- Some may have some discoloration due to aging- all are original
Th first board (in photo) the part number is MIT 88-2 SIO Rev 0 (the gold chip is MC6850L Motorola 76 DC) All other boards are not easily viewable and I am not technical and do not want to break anything.
All located in California
Available for inspection at my home
All sales final- to be shipped insured and properly packaged
