Payment Terms

You must pay within 3 business days after purchasing or winning an item.

Payment methods for US/Canada and International buyers with confirmed addresses:

  • Paypal. Our Paypal account is sales -at- andovercg.com. If you pay from your bank account (an eCheck), we will ship when the eCheck clears. Paypal accepts most major credit cards.

Items not paid for within three business days may be sold to another buyer. We do not send requests soliciting payments unless you have won the item. Sales Tax: All items shipped to a California address or picked up at our warehouse are subject to 8.5% sales tax. Pickup charges and "shipping," because it includes packaging, is taxable in California. We make no express or implied warranties or representations with respect to the items (including, but not limited to; implied warranties of merchantability and fitness) and disclaims any liability that may arise from the use of purchased items. Many items are covered under their original factory warranty, in which case we recommend that you contact the manufacturer directly if you experience a problem with an item you purchase from us.

Return Policy or Warranty: Unless stated otherwise above, you have thirty days from date the item is delivered to the shipping address to review it for any undocumented material defect or deficiency. We do not offer refunds or exchanges after the thirty day period. Andover Consulting Group, Inc. cannot accept exchanges, substitutions or cross shipments on returned items. If you wish a warranty for longer than thirty days, please consider the warranty program offered through eBay.

Self-Repair: Do not attempt to repair the item if it is in any way damaged or nonfunctional without first contacting us at techsupport - at - andovercg.com. Attempting to repair an item without contact with us voids the warranty. If you picked the item up from one of our locations you must return the complete item in order to receive your refund or warranty service.

Returning an item: Contact techsupport - at - andovercg.com for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Unless we agree otherwise, you must return all parts of an item and in the condition it was purchased for credit. The buyer is responsible for providing proper packaging for returning the item. More often than not, the original packaging should suffice. If the item is damaged on return due to inadequate packaging, the buyer is responsible for all damages. If one is available, we reserve the right to ship you a replacement unit rather than offering a refund. Email us to attain a return authorization number.

Refunds: Please allow up to five business days after an item returns to us before we process a refund.

Returned items: Items returned for any reason other than above or found to be non deficient or without material defect after return are subject to a 25% restocking fee and the cost of the returned shipment. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges in the event the item is returned without material defect. If the delivery vendor is unable to deliver the item to you and the item is returned to us, you will be required to pay shipping a second time in order to receive the item or accept a 25% restocking fee and the cost of the returned shipment if you do not wish to have the item reshipped. Customers who refuse packages at the time of delivery will be charged a 25% restocking fee, shipping charges out and return shipping charges.

How we ship: We ONLY ship using our shipping account. Our preferred carriers are Fedex and UPS. Please do not ask to use your account or service. Default shipping is GROUND or FREIGHT for the continental USA and Canada. All other locations are default shipping via air services. Expedited service is available at additional cost. All items are shipped within two business days after we notify you that payment has cleared. We do NOT ship C.O.D.

"Shipping" includes: "Shipping" charges include packaging, insurance, shipping and handling charges. We cannot separate these charges. We ship "F.O.B. Destination". We automatically insure from our location.

Where we ship: We ship to the Continental United States and Canada via ground services and Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Guam, Virgin Islands and Alaska via air services. For shipments of smaller items, we can ship via APOs, FPOs and Post office boxes or any other location via the USPS for an additional $15 fee per item. This fee is in addition to any other fees listed on this page. We cannot ship Desktop computers, large servers, CRT monitors and other larger items through the USPS under any circumstances. We will ship internationally as long as the buyer has cleared their shipping costs before bidding on or buying the item.

International Shipments: Our items are listed as US and Canada only. We ONLY accept European, Asian, African, Indian and Australian buyers as long as they contact us before bidding or buying to determine their shipping costs. Ground shipments via any non-USPS carrier are assessed additional charges by the Canadian government and are the responsibility of the buyer. This charge is in addition to higher shipping charges. All buyers are responsible for determining and paying their own customs, brokerage and any other international shipping costs and charges. We will only ship using our shipping account. Please do not ask to use your account or service. We will not refund international shipping costs under any circumstances. The buyer is responsible for paying all shipping charges and customs charges in the event there is an issue with the product.

Tracking Numbers: When applicable, we send all buyers a tracking number for their purchase.

Pick-up service: Unless otherwise noted, pick-up service at our San Francisco warehouse is available for the full shipping price.

Disassembly service: Cherry picking parts out of an item is available for the full shipping price.

Shipping Damage or Lost Shipment: Andover will manage the claim with the appropriate shipper. For damaged shipments, the shipper must inspect and may pickup the damaged item. Please keep all original packaging available for the shipper's inspection. If the shipper picks up the item after completing their inspection, please return all parts of the auction or we will only be able to provide a refund. We do not refund for shipping damage or loss until we receive reimbursement from the shipper and/or the damaged product is returned to us or the shipper. For a Lost Shipment, we will refund your payment once we have received word from the shipping company that the claim will be covered. For all shipping claims, per the terms of the delivery companies, the entire claims procedure may take up to 60 days. Please be patient.

Correct Shipping address: The buyer is responsible to ensure we have the correct SHIP TO address at the time payment is made. We charge a $15.00 fee for any address correction made after shipment. This must be paid within 24 hours or the delivery company will automatically return the item to us and you will be refunded in order with the terms and conditions of the auction. This fee applies to ANY address corrections/clarifications needed including - but not limited to - such errors as incorrect or missing zip codes, apartment numbers, street numbers, business name, etc.
