Offered here is an ULTRA RARE Commodore AMIGA 1060 sidecar expansion for the Amiga 1000 computer. This unit; when hooked to an Amiga 1000 alowed the Amiga 1000 to run IBM compatable software and easily transfer files between IBM and Amiga via the expansion unit. Few of these were sold as they were offered for only a short time and were very expensive. These units were developed in Germany thus this one is a 220v version. I bought this many years ago as a working unit however when I went to test the unit today, I discovered I do not have the sidecar installation disk. I do have the Dos disks and manuals (in German). In spite of this, once hooked up to an Amiga 1000, the unit does power on and the Amiga mouse (plugged into the expansion unit does work). You really need the installation disk to make use of the Dos functions of the expansion unit. Case has some yellowing as per photos.No further testing was done. This is a tough piece to find as I have not seen one offered for several years. Please look at the photos as they a a big part of the description. Computer andMonitor are NOT included.Any Amiga or computer collector would be proud to display it. I cannot offer a warranty on Vintage electronics being over 30 years old so I offer this AS IS.
