This hard drive was not even used for3months when I decidedI had to abandon the rig I was building for bills..and I couldn't returnit to microcenter since it has beenjust over 1 month-thank you bailout plan.. Check out my other items I have for sale right now. Otherwise, there is absoulutely nothing wrong with this hdd and I guarentee it not DOA. The remaining 5 factory warranty is still pure 100% I am sure of as well. Hard drive will come in plastic anti-static bag, I treatall my computer hardwarein immaculate condition
