Samsung SH-S223 DVD/CD Writer (Recertified) For sale is a Samsung SH-S223 DVD/CD writer/reader. This drive is a few years old but has only been used a few times. This is a recertified drive that was sent back to Samsung who claimed to have repaired it. It has since only been used 3-4 times briefly, and appeared to have been working although it has not been used for long term writes. Therefore I am listing this as an item for parts or not working, as I am not guaranteeing it will work flawlessly. The reason the drive was sent back in the first place is because it would occasionally eject a disc after inserting it; merely pressing the close button again would fix it. Typically this means it may need some canned air to be blown through it. This is an OEM drive, and therefore does not include a retail box or SATA cable. Plays and writes to most common DVD and CD formats.
