Hmm. OK. There is some info out there on these and basically, it seems the synth engine uses a number algorithms including FM, additive and off course subtractive synths. The paramaters you get to tweak are not the usual stuff but that can be a good thing. This is an unusual beast. I read a'Sound on Sound' review that seemed very positive and it just pointed out how it has a lot of sounds that are useable straight out of the box.

This one has obviously been well used but it works fine. The only fault is that the transformer causes the top cover to hum noticeably but that can be dampened fairly easily.

Comes with the original manual and i have a pdf version that i can email if anyone is interested to know more about this handy little number.
