This device is tiny and it\'s fanless, so there\'s no noise. All metal construction with a lot of weight to it. Forget the used rack mount units or old computers. This firewall does everything you need and it averages just 10 watts idle. It has 4 Intel 82583V NIC ports that allow you to configure different layers of security within your network for extra protection and the features of pfSense/OPNSense allow you to have enterprise class network control and performance for the price of a home router. Please be aware that competing devices use the cheap Realtek network chips which are nowhere near as stable, reliable or performant as Intel.pfSense/OPNSense capabilities include:
