This item is a Promise VTrak M200p dual channel Ultra 320 SCSI to 8-bay Serial ATA (SATA) 3Gb/s RAID system with eight 250GB drives installed for a total of 2TB storage space. The installed drives are new Hitachi Deskstar 250GB 7200RPM SATA drives, model HDT722525DLA380. This unit was removed from the box to install the drives, then powered up to verify that it works and all the drives are good using the CLI via console. It was then resealed in the original packaging along with all the cables, manuals, and rails.
