This is a Progressive Electronics Tracker Model 501 cable locator system. The paperwork says it is a Tracker ll. It is used but has been taken care of very well. A few minor imperfections, the case does have one of the latches broken, but this unit weighs so little that the case does not open with just the one latched. It still functions great, the rest of the case is really nice. The unit was purchased from a retired lineman, he showed us that it powered on fine, hooked up the leads to the transmitter and showed us that the receiver meter the transmitter meter and the output audio signal were functioning fine. I have never tested this on an underground line, but I can see that the units all have power and the meters , audio seem to function fine. The instruction booklet comes with this as well as 8AA NEW batteries for the transmitter and a new 9v battery for the Receiver. Comes with :
