Upgradeability to the Digital KXTD
Range: Because all the features are centralised, upgrading
from one system to the next couldn’t be easier. With the KXT 616, you can develop your
system whilst protecting your investment in your telephone equipment: all the
KXT7000 series key telephones can be used with the KX-TD, as can any 2wire
devices/telephones. The KX-TD system
range offers additional capacity [up to 38 lines + 128 extensions] and affords
ISDN facilities including Calling Line Identification, Call Charge Information
plus many other benefits, as well as the facilities that you have already
enjoyed with the KX-T Series.

transfer at any extension, the KXT 616 can provide
full switchboard operation. This enables fast and efficient call handling
whilst enabling the operator to have visual indication of all lines and

and even basic telephones as well as the system’s proprietary key telephones.
Voice Calling: The system has a built in paging facility which
enables each key telephone to act as a speaker when not in use. There are a
number of paging zones to help locate staff around the site. Voice calls can
be made to certain individual with hands free answerback.

the kxt can be switched to an alternative ringing pattern: Day/Night
Service. On the KX-T616 this can also change the call barring to help
prevent call abuse
Calls that are not answered
within a specified time can be set to ring a secondary extension or group of
extensions. This Delayed Ringing helps enable improved customer
service particularly during peak operator periods
DISA: This facility allows external callers to dial
directly to the extension they require, after following the guidance message
issued by the system. This helps to ease the load of a busy operator, and
connects calls quickly and easily to the caller’s chosen extension [206 only]
By attaching
a printer or call management system to the KX-T system, a detailed record of
all incoming & outgoing calls can be kept. This, combined with individual
and system wide call barring, the KX-T offers total system call & cost
management.
