Original Altair 8800 Case and Power SupplyYou are offerding on an original Altair 8800 Case and Power Supply.All photos are of the item in this sale.Various S-100 boards, including Altair, are listed on quite often, but finding a case and working power supply is very rare.This sale is for the case and installed power supply only - no motherboard or S-100 cards are included.There are some scratches and minor dents in the case which may not be visible in the photos.I powered it up and measured the supply voltages.
  • The +8 volt line measured 10.6 volts with no load.
  • The +16 volt line measured 21 volts with no load.
  • The -16 volt linemeasured 17.7 volts with no load.
  • The voltages should be closer to the specified +8, +16, and -16 values once a load is applied.

Note: The power cord has been replaced and needs a strain relief installed.
