The Etherfast Cable/DSL Router plus Wireless Access Point is perfect for connecting a small group of PCs to a high-speed broadband Internet connection and to a 10/100 Ethernet backbone. Plus, with this routers integrated wireless access point, youll be able to incorporate the mobility and convenience of wireless connectivity into your existing network.

Configurable as a DHCP server for your existing network, this router acts as the only externally recognized Internet gateway on your LAN. It can be configured to filter internal users Internet access, and also provides firewall protection against external attacks. The routers built-in, 10/100 4-port switch is a robust conduit for dispersing your Broadband Cable/DSL Internet connection to multiple users sharing a single IP address. The 4-port switch also dramatically increases the speed of multimedia and gaming connections.

The routers integrated wireless access point operates over the 2.4GHz DSSS and is fully compliant with IEEE 802.11b Wi-Fi standards, supporting data rates up to 11Mbps. Via highly efficient dipole antennas, operating ranges span from 91m indoors to 457m outdoors. Full support is provided for Roaming, Best Access Point Selection, Load Balancing and Network Traffic Filtering. Up to 128MB WEP encryption ensures the security of your wireless connections.

Compatible with all popular operating systems, the Etherfast Cable/DSL Router plus Wireless Access Point is configurable through any networked PCs Web browser. Linksys provides a one-year warranty and free 24/7 technical support.
