This a brand new Jetstor 316S SCSI Raid Array. It is brand new and comes with all originally boxed accessories. This item was part of a massive liquidation and sat fully boxed and unused.

It you aren't familar with Jetstor, they are one of the pioneers of RAID storage. Located in Pittsburgh, they are a bunch of Carnegie Mellon engineers. They do not sell to the public and mostly deal with large institutions such as universities.

Their URL is www.raid.com --- so that should tell you something. These guys make awesome products.

The device is missing one drive caddy. The folks at Jetstor said that they'd gladly replace it for a minimal charge. Otherwise, the unit will function without it.

This unit retails for around $4,000 and is a better piece of equipment than similar stuff made by Promise or Infortrend. If you need the speed and reliability of SCSI, then this is the right choice.
