Ithaca Audio Z80 CPU Card KitI purchased this kit many years ago and some 30 to 40 or more other boards and kits prior to construction of my first S-100 computer.At the time I had no idea of what I needed and bought everything I could, as it turned out I had enough to build several systems with what I had and some that I still own. I\'ve always found this a very rewarding hobby and am still building and enjoying S-100 systems and other vintage computers.This is an Ithaca Audio Z80 CPU, Model IA-1010, Revision 2.0 which is the final Revision.
Ithaca Audio designed and manufactured these boards in 1977 as a fully compatible upgrade for the Imsai and Altair Computers. They
also sold them wholesale to a few other retail outlets such as Jade, Advanced Computer Products, and others. In fact this board
became the industry standard replacement and upgrade of the 8080 CPU that came with these and other S-100 computers of the era.The manual for the board is excellent and provides detailed assembly and checkout instructions. Also includes the Revisions Schedule from Initial release Rev 0, Rev 1, Rev 1.1, Rev 1.2, Rev 1.3, Rev 1.4 and the Final Release Rev board is in new condition and includes \"almost\" all parts needed for assembly.*What\'s Missing*
Somewhere through the years I must have borrowed :) these parts for another board.
1 (one) 8 Position SPST Dip Switch.
2-4 (two-four) 50-100 uf electrolytic capacitors 25 volt at locations C1-C3 and C6.
*NOTE* If using an Intel 2708 eprom you will need to provide 4 (four) C1-C3 and C6.
If using an Intel 2716 eprom you will only need 2 (two) at locations C1 and C6.
I\'ve included a 2716 eprom with the Cromemco Z80 Monitor to get you going after board comes with the Rev 2.0 manual on CD in PDF format.The 74LS367 bus drivers are upgraded to 8T97s providing higher drive current for better signal strength to the motherboard. Features:
