IMSAI 8080 CP/M S-100 BUS Computer w/ Five Internal Cards
This is a clean, refurbished (not capped), good condition IMSAI 8080 S-100 Computer

The computer has been completely stripped down and cleaned. All chassis aluminum parts were wash and cleaned. BUS board blown dusted and wiped down clean. All the slots were cleaned. The PSU parts have been removed and cleaned. The fan has been thoroughly cleaned and is working (not too loud). Connecting wired wiped down. The PSU PCS was removed and cleaned. New thermal pasts applied under the heat sink, the fuse is good. The front panel was cleaned. All layers of the display acrylic washed, dried, and reassembled without any fingerprints showing. When I purchased this, it was in pieces and I reassembled as seemed logical for the white spacers. LED\'s straighten, several resoldered that were loose. All red and blue switches were cleaned. All switches feel the same moving up and down. All the cards have been dusted and socketed IC\'s reseated. All card edges on both sides, cleaned.
I decided not to turn on the computer as I do not have the correct tools to slow soak the large capacitors over a period of a few days to insure proper charging. I do not think they have been used in many years. There is a new gray switch escutcheon under the switches. It is about 1mm too narrow. This also shows that the spacers for the front panel may be in the incorrect position. Additional spacers and screws along the correct sized hex-key included in the small baggy inside the computer. I am not sure that this is the original top cover. I was told by a few people on that have been following this sale that it is not original top cover. Please see the photos to determine for yourself.
Please see all the photos for ask for more if needed. I am selling the computer as-is with no returns. I have taken it as far as I can and someone else can complete the process. Thank You.
