For Sale is an HP ProLiant BL 460c Gen8 Blade Server. Pulled from a blade housing unit that has been in air conditioned storage for several years. While I cannot power on the server to confirm it is in working condition, it was pulled directly from production in 2014 and has been in storage without any interaction since then.
Installed are 2x Xeon E5-2640 CPUs (6c/12t) for a total of 12 Cores and 24 Threads at 2.5GHz base frequency.48GB of RAM is included in the form of 6x PC3L-10600R RDIMMs.Both empty SAS drive trays are included (no drives).
NOTE: Thermal Paste has been removed from the CPUs in order to validate and photograph them for this listing. You MUST reapply thermal paste to both CPUs BEFORE powering on the unit!
