Additionally, manufacturer's further combat manufacturer's of generic parts by invalidating warranty claims on defective items that have generic parts installed in them. For the few dollars you save, the security and optimal performance you compromise just isn't worth it. Many of our competitors seek to maximize their margins by using generic CPU's, memory, etc. We would much rather deal with you on multiple occasions, than stick you with something we wouldn't use ourselves for internal use.
