Marked on top DRESSEL ARLINGTON and where the cap is there is a partial N which I think should be NJ?
Measurements of the Red Base NOT including the chimney are as follows:
About 4 1/2\" Long by 3 3/4\" Wide and 2 1/2\" Tall
Total height INCLUDING the Chimney is about 6\"
In vintageUSED condition, exact age unknown. Overall condition appears good and looks to be complete. Fuel tank was painted RED at some point and does have wear to paint and some patina to metal. Cap is present and screws on and off without issue. The wick is stuck and does not move although the control for it does turn freely. PYREX chimney is marked as seen in picture number 8. Chimney is in nice shape and is free of chips or cracks. Chimney does have some scratches present. I have not tried to remove the center globe/wick piece as it is on very tight. The inside of the tank looks good considering it\'s age. When looking inside I can see some light surface rust and the rest of the the old wick. The bottom is solid. I am no expert on Railroad items and the information I have provided are my observations of the lantern and what I have read regarding some similar ones.
