This auction is for (1) Dell Perc4/DC SCSI Raid Controller with 128MB Cache and battery backup unit. I literally spent the last hour testing this card, again. I inserted this card into a brand new PowerEdge Server, attached 4 hard drives to Channel 0 and configured and initialized a Raid 5 Stripe Set. Then I tested Read/Write operations for 30 minutes, then upgraded the firmware to 352D, which is the latest available from Dell. After that, the card was pulled and placed in an antistatic bag for this auction. If you have no prior experience with Raid Cards and PCI-X, please do not bid, this item ismeantfor someone with a techincal understanding of raid, backplane and Server systems.
