All refurbishing is done in our lab as follows:

Each pc gets a thorough cleaning

Laptops & desktops are cleaned on the outside. Then:

Our technicians clean the inside which includes:

Clean motherboard
Clean fans
Clean cables
Clean floppy, dvd, & hd(s)

Next:

We check for a healthy pc using the manufacturer\'s diagnostics and a few of our own.

Then our technician corrects any problems found.

Vintage computers get a new lithium CMOS battery and, in many cases, new memory. We also update the
BIOCS, if needed. Each computer is stress tested and we check the processor for overheating with HWMonitor.
A useful tool we install on all Windows pc. If we discover overheating, we replace the fan(s) and use new thermal paste on the
processor and heat sink. Now, we check for a stable OS. The OS is either reinstalled or the latest updates installed.
We check the functioning of USB ports, and all drives.

Next, if possible, we install CCleaner and use it to fix Registry errors and clean useless data from the HD.

Then, if possible, Malwarebytes is installed and run, followed by installing Zone Alarm anti-virus & firewall.
We then run a full scan to clean out and quarantine problem files.

Next, we install:

Firefox Browser
Chrome Browser
Media Player 10 DVD player

Of course you get whatever programs that come with your version of Windows

After we receive your payment we power up your system for a final inspection.
