The 1U rack-mountable AutoView 400 1-user x 8-port KVM switch allows users to control and operate up to 8 multi-platform server room computers with one user console that consists of a single PS2 or Sun keyboard & mouse and VGA monitor. The 8 attached computers are able to consist of mixed platforms such as PC, SUN, or USB connections. Hot-swappable ports allow for seamless computer connectivity to the KVM along with flawless computer port shifting whenever necessary. KVM switching is accomplished through the advanced on-screen display interface or by means of push-buttons or hot-keys. Adding the secondary Cat5 based receiver unit will extend the single user console up to 500ft over UTP cabling away from the multi-platform AutoView KVM switch. Notes:
