This drive rack allows for three (3) 3.5" SATA hard drives to be mounted in the space of two standard 5.25" drive bays, so that they are accessible for easy replacement and/or hot swapping. It has served me well for a number of years, but the fan the blows air over the drives from the rear keeps failing, and during the most recent replacement, the PCB that makes contact with the drive cage's unit (as well as the plastic fan cage) seem to be about done. If you want to rig something up, fix this issue with some soldering, or simply bypass the beeping noise that it makes to notify you, this is a well-made unit and works great otherwise.
