Each routers are professionally refurbished with all ports tested for functionality, configurations erased and all passwords removed. The cabling in this kit includes a DCE/DTE serial crossover cables which connect two router serial ports together without external circuits or modems, Ethernet cables (both crossover and straight).

The IOS loaded on these routers support BGP, BGP 4, CDP (Cisco Discovery Protocol) Version 2, Enhanced IGRP (EIGRP), Frame Relay, ISDN, On Demand Routing (ODR), OSPF, PPP, Routing Information Protocol (RIP), Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) plus Cisco Encryption Technology (CET) 56 Bit and Firewall Feature Set, (among many other features).
