Cisco ASA5500-X series next generation firewall is the new enterprise class standard in security for the current and emerging security pressures that may threaten your network. The new firewall line will give you the added security that your network needs, but at a cost that will keep an IT budget in line. The ASA5500-X series will give you a comprehensive range of next-generation security services that include: granular visibility and control, web security over the cloud or onsite, protection from malware, and remote access. The ASA5500-X series is specifically designed for small to medium business that have one or more locations, service providers, and large enterprises. A midsize business will primarily see improved security at the internet edge of their network. They provide various security options and redundant power supplies as well. This provides a consistent security over your business. This new type of firewall has scalable performance as well as service flexibility with variations of licensing that is available for each firewall.
Each ASA5500-X firewall will include a high-performance VPN and will always have remote access capability. Another feature of the firewalls is the Web Security Essentials (WSE). This feature will restrict certain websites solely based on the websites reputation. The ASA5500-X series also has next generation options that include, Cisco Application Visibility Control (AVC), intrusion prevention software (IPS), web security, and botnet filtering. (Specific licensing required). The AVC feature will control the specific behaviors that are within the micro applications. With the help of licensing, additional security can be added with ease and is offered in one, three, and five year packages.

When placing an order with CablesAndKits you will be presented with several shipping options during checkout. Except for special circumstances we prefer to ship FedEx. If there is a special reason that you need to ship via a method we do not offer on the website please contact us.
When you checkout, our site calculates the weight of your order and requests shipping rates in real time from FedEx. The rates we charge are the standard FedEx published rates and we do not mark them up or add any handling charges. Please note that shipping rates are calculated on many factors including package weight, package size, send from address, send to address, fuel surcharges, etc. If you believe there is an error in your rate calculation please contact us BEFORE placing your order.
Orders must be received prior to 8pm (FedEx Express) and 7pm (FedEX Ground) Monday through Friday in order to be shipped the same day. Orders received after the deadline may still get shipped but we cannot guarantee that they will. If your order is urgent please place it as soon as possible. There are certain situations where the order may not ship the same day even if received before the deadline. Some of those exceptions are:
Orders not placed during normal business hours will not be processed until the next business day. If part of your order is out of stock and you choose FedEx Ground as your shipping method we will ship your order when the out of stock items are received. (This is usually no more than 2 business days). If part of your order is out of stock and you choose a FedEx Express service we will contact you to see if you would like the in stock portion of your order to ship that day or if you would like us to wait for the remainder to arrive before shipping. Delivery and Transit Times:
Delivery times vary depending on the date the order is shipped, the shipping and delivery addresses, and other factors. FedEx is pretty reliable when it comes to their transit times so once you receive a tracking number from us you should be able to estimate with some accuracy when your order will arrive. Once you receive your tracking number you can visit the FedEx website to track your package. The tracking information usually contains the estimated delivery date which is usually pretty accurate.
International Shipping:
We will gladly ship your order to any destination in the world serviced by FedEx or USPS. Shipping rates are automatically calculated during checkout. If you have any questions or special requests regarding international shipping please contact us via live chat, phone or email.
Note that the only shipments sent via USPS that are eligible for tracking are Global Express Mail and Global Express Mail Guaranteed.
Loss or Damage
If your order is lost or damaged during transit we will handle the claim with the carrier to save you the time and aggravation. We will also replace your order, up to the insured amount ($100 by default), as soon as the carrier has processed the claim. This can be a complicated procedure, please contact us if you have any questions about it. The good news is that packages are rarely lost and the items we sell are hard to damage so this will probably never affect our customers.
