This is a never-used Cisco ASA 5505 Firewall. It was bought brand new from CDW for a branch office, and never deployed. I had it on my desk for a while getting it set up for the office, but the branch office was closed before this was deployed. It has the latest software - 8.0(3) and ASDM 6.03 installed. Included is everything from the retail box, which you see in the picture. Cables, manuals, power supply, and the ASA.These are great devices, capable of 150mbps, 10k firewall connections (software upgradable to 25k), 100Mbps VPN throughput, with 256mb memory and 64mb flash. It also has an integration 8-port 10/100 switch with 2 PoE ports.This would be more than capable for most rack solutions - we power whole racks in our datacenter with these. The power is unbelievable compared to the older PIX firewalls that these replace. Of course they are also great for brach offices because of their great site-to-site VPN can see there are a few small scratches in the back right top of this photo. The firewall is clean as a whistle - I must have rubbed something on it while it was on my desk.
