COMMODORE 64 Floppy Disk Drive 1541 w/Box User\'s Guide Test/Demo Disk TESTED
This is a very nice find, has been stored and the box and foam show wear from storage, but inside the Disk Drive has been protected with the Original Insert which keeps the head steady while in transit, and also the drive opening was covered with plastic wrap. And amazingly, The ORIGINAL CLEAR PLASTIC OVER THE COMMODORE LOGO, RAINBOW STRIPE AND 1541 IS STILL THERE! Oh, how I want to rip that off! But I will contain myself and let the buyer of this do the honors, if they wish! The pictures show just how I found this when opening for the first time. There was very old clear plastic wrap over the drive opening which was taped to the top. It did its job protecting this drive, but it needed to be removed. I took some Goo-Be-Gone and very gently cleaned the tape residue off the top surface and then cleaned all surfaces with Lysol and it looks EXCELLENT. I tested about 40 Floppy Disks over 3 days and it works great.
It comes with a serial cable for connecting to the Commodore 64, the Power Cord, the Commodore 1541 User\'s Guide and the Commodore 1541 Test/Demo Disk.
