Up for sale is a Barracuda 1U rackmount appliance that has been preloaded with pfSense® software. This server/router/firewall has been tested and is ready for use, and features 8 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, all of which (front accessible) are Intel-based.


The specifications of this appliance are as follows:


- Intel Core 2 Duo Q9400 Processor @ 2.66 GHz (Quad Core processor)

- 8GB DDR2 RAM

- 160GB Hard Drive

- 2 USB Ports

- 8x Gigabit Ethernet ports (all are Intel-based network interfaces - front accessible)

By default, the LAN and WAN interfaces will be configured on the front ports as labeled.


The system has some scratches and signs of wear on the outside of the case. This unit is not fanless and does make some noise during operation, so it may not be suitable for all environments. The item you will receive will be as pictured. Please note that no additional rack mounting hardware will be included other than the ears as pictured.
