  • Please note: This computer does not boot from its internal disk, but it does boot and run fine from an external Firewire disk.
    In the summer of 2019, I erased the internal 160GB disk (far larger than original 60GB disk) and installed a fresh operating system on it. But now in 2021, that disk is not seen and it won\'t boot from it. The photos and screenshots below are from booting via an external Firewire disk (NOT INCLUDED IN THIS sale).

  • Other notes about case condition: LRF Support: Two of the little rubber feet on the bottom have fallen off (see photos). There are also imperfections in the white plastic on the bottom of the case.
  • Other note about retail box: There is a 3x4\" or so hole in the side of the box, where I had to cut out a barcode to get a particular rebate at the time of purchase. Box is huge compared to Apple laptop boxes these days! (7x14x17\")

  • Battery was replaced with Apple OEM battery after some years. Current one does not lay flat (see photos) but it is not failing or expanding and indeed holds a charge well.
