Arris Surfboard SVG2482AC Wireless Voice Gateway - Xfinity Internet, Wi-Fi & Voice Modem
Bought two of these. Was going to gift one to a family member and they ended up going a different direction with their networking setup and they ended up leaving Xfinity.So I decided to sell one.
This one was sealed, but I broke the seal to verify contents and take pictures. So I am selling as NEW (OTHER) instead of NEW.Has never been used.
(For the one I kept for myself, it was rather straightforward to switch from the rented Cisco gateway to the Arris SVG2482AC. I do have Xfinity internet and cable, but I do not have Xfinity voice. I have Vonage phone service, and it has worked with the Arris as well. I just route it thru an ethernet port rather than via the phone port on the gateway. I have not had any issues the last year, and I am closing in on the break-even point for my purchase. So if you hate renting equipment from Xfinity, purchase with confidence.
