AMIGA 600 PAL MODEL VINTAGE CAPACITORS REPLACED FULLY FUNCTIONAL Ships from USA:
$650.00

THIS IS THE AMIGA 600 PAL model - and specs are below but if you’re looking at this you probably already know everything about it.The capacitors have been replaced within the last year — capacitors go bad after dozens of years and this Amiga is 20+ years old. Replacing the capacitors (see pictures) ensures that the video looks correct and that the Amiga functions correctly. However there is no warranty that comes with this, it is sold “as is” and no guarantee as to how it will function in the future. Right now it is fully functional — see pictures. Kickstart is built in but you will need workbench discs in order to gain the desktop. It is fully functional - working floppy drive (clicks when powered up) and comes with the computer itself (600), the original power supply (power brick) and an Amiga original working mouse. This is a PAL machine — that means the monitor output, if connected to a US TV will NOT show a picture, HOWEVER you can go from the monitor output (using a compatible Amiga monitor cable terminating in a scart) to a NTSC/PAL converter box and then go to a US Television. Monitor cable, monitor, converter box and TV are not included. The pictures above are using a converter going to a US TV and that is why the image is widescreen -- normally it is TV 4:3 sized. So using a converter lets you use it with a US TV, or you can use the video out (RCA) but it is a black and white video output only (normal) -- or you can use a commodore-compatible multisync type monitor with a monitor output for a full color display also -- monitor is not includedThis PAL Amiga 600 is for the enthusiast/hobbyist looking for a fully functioning machine where the capacitors have been changed for new ones in order to ensure a better functioning machine moving forward. **The Amiga 600 was the smallest Amiga computer ever released, as well as the last system in the Amiga "16-bit" line.
The inclusion of the now-familiar PCMCIA expansion slot, yet another first for the Amiga line, potentially allowed unlimited expansion opportunities. The A600 is based on the Motorola 68000 CPU and the ECS chipset. It is essentially a redesign of the Amiga 500 Plus, with the option of an internal hard disk drive and a PCMCIA port. A notable aspect of the A600 is its small size. Lacking a numeric keypad, the A600 is only slightly larger than a standard PC keyboard (14" wide by 9.5" long by 3" high and weighing approximately 6 pounds). It shipped with AmigaOS 2.0, which was generally considered more user-friendly than earlier versions of the operating system.
