ABit KT7-RAID Socket 462 Motherboard + AMD Athlon ThunderBird 1.1Ghz AXIA +320MB For sale is this ABit KT7-RAID Socket 462 Motherboard with AMD Athlon ThunderBird 1.1Ghz CPU, 320MB of PC133 RAM and FOP-32 Heatsink and Fan.For those that would remember this would have been a killer combination at the turn of the millenium. The AMD Athlon AXIA stepping was the supreme overclocker with its lower temperatures. The ABIT KT7-RAID provided AGP 8x, ATA-100 RAID capability via it’s HighPoint controller and it’s SoftMenu III overclocking options reigned supreme in the overclocking scene.
Coupled with 320MB of PC133 RAM there’s plenty of headroom to play with. Also included is an original FOP-32 Heatsink and fan (for those that remmeber!) the fan has been replaced with a modern fan which was originally from an AMD Athlon XP bundle, hence the AMD logo on it.
Also included, though not tested is the Abit‘Postman’ diagnostic backplane to show any boot errors that could not be resolved before posting.
All components have been cleaned and fully tested and working. Stress tested with MemTest 86+.
A new Panasonic CR2032 Backup battery has been fitted which should last several years of use.
Board will be sent in a new anti-static bag, padded and protected to ensure it arrives to its new owner in the same condition it has left in. Heatsink and fan will be detached as these AMD cores were very fragile and I do not want you to receive a damaged CPU, they’re getting pretty rare!
Combined the included bundle weighs close to 1.2kgs, this item will be packed very carefully to ensure it arrives in the same condition as it has left in. As such the postage cost reflects the costs that we pay to Australia Post.
