Description:

Here is a Great Motorola Cable Ethernet Converter box that is used in conjunction with Verizon Fios Cable Internet Service. Motorola NIM100 Converts regular Ethernet traffic (From a Ethernet Cable CAT-5) to a Signal that is able to traverse the COAXial wiring infrastructure already existent in most of the homes without affecting the Cable, Satellite or FiOS TV signal. Multiple Nodes/Devices can be hooked to the same COAXIAL infrastructure and communicate in a mesh like topology on the shared medium. This device can be used in any house where FiOS is installed and will interoperate with the Actiontec Router and will create a Ethernet connection anywhere in the house where a COAX (cable TV) plug is available.This device can also be used with another or multiple NIM100 in any house with or without FiOS to transfer Ethernet over the existing COAX.
