We've all seen them: Sellers that charge you $15-$20 to ship an item that will cost them only $4.00.

Here is some information about MY shipping and handling that I want you to know. You have probably noticed that eBay has enacted a new feedback system for sellers covering different aspects of the auction process. While I feel this is a good idea, I feel that I have been unfairly targeted for my shipping and handling "fees". I charge a standard $1.00 handling fee for all of my auctions. The rest of the cost is a DIRECT quote from USPS for Priority Mail shipping. Though the post office provides Priority Mailing supplies, they do not cover the many fees that sellers on eBay incur or the cost of tape, foam peanuts, bubble wrap, large boxes or time and gas to the post office. For those of you who haven't ever listed an item, eBay fees include an initial listing fee, gallery picture fees and final value fees that take a percentage of the selling price. And then there is Paypal. Paypal will charge me $0.33 to accept a $1.00 payment from you. The fees go up from there. We are all here to make a few bucks (you're looking to find a bargain and I'm looking to make a little extra cash). I am not a dealer, all of my items come from my own home. I enjoy eBay as much as I enjoy a good garage sale. At the end of the day you hope that you have cleared out some clutter and made a little extra money.
