Checks for User-Agent HTML injection vulnerability in Advanced Guestbook Detailed Explanation for this Vulnerability Assessment Summary : The remote web server contains a PHP script which is vulnerable to a cross site scripting issue. Description : The remote host is running Advanced Guestbook, a free guestbook written in PHP. The installed version of Advanced Guestbook fails to properly sanitize the 'HTTP_USER_AGENT' environment variable before using it in dynamically generated content. A possible hacker can exploit this flaw to launch cross-site scripting attacks against the affected application. Solution : Upgrade to Advanced Guestbook version 2.3.3 or later.
